Management Team

Mr. Sirois began his career in the computer and information technology field in 1998 where he served for almost two years at the help desk for Stream International. As a Senior Microsoft Server Support Engineer, he was responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues customers were facing using Microsoft products. From there he spent an additional five years with PCI Corporation, a Boston-based banking software company, as the Senior Network Administrator, where he was responsible for providing support for a corporate information technology infrastructure and approximately 250 servers/workstations. It was here that Steve clearly affirmed his strength in solving IT related problems which resulted in a desire to provide this type of service to others who might appreciate his personal approach to solving IT issues.

This eventually led him to found Balsam Technologies in order to offer this same service to the greater business community. Today Balsam supports a broad base of businesses in the greater Boston marketplace.

Mr. Kusel has spent 30 years in various leadership, management and marketing positions, most recently with Marketplace Network Inc (MNI), where he served as president for seven years. Prior to this, Kent served as Marketing Director for Berkshire Mortgage Finance and Vice President for GE Capital Corporation . Kent began his career in the retail sector with the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company and then entered the commercial real estate field where he served Arvida Corporation, Wood Gundy Properties and CB Richard Ellis (formerly CB Commercial). Kent brings over 25 years of management and direct marketing experience, including 15 years in direct sales and several years of sales management and marketing oversight.

While Mr. Sirois focuses on the practical and technical details for IT support, Mr. Kusel helps manage the business and provides stewardship oversight for the company resources.
